Call For Submissions

Calling all artists!
Each semester, the Fifth Story Gallery hosts an exhibit to showcase the artistic talents of the students on this campus. We seek amateur, as well as professional student artists who work in all mediums.
This semester we would like to invite you to submit any art work that you feel captures the spirit of the Illinois campus. We are looking for new and exciting pieces that depict how you view life at UIUC.
All selected pieces will be displayed in our gallery, which is located in the lobby of the Campus Center for Advising and Academic Services. Your work will also be available for viewing on our online gallery from September 14 - Dec 4.
Submissions should include the following:
- Slides, CDs, or photographic images of your work
- The work's medium (painting, photograph, sculpture, etc.)
- A very short bio (one to two sentences is fine) that says who you are, what year you are, and what program you're in.
The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, September 9 at noon. Decisions will be finalized within several days of the deadline.
